About Us!

Silver Scizzors started out in 2003 as Cindy Michael's Hair Company, and became Michael Robert's Silver Scissors in 2006 when we absorbed Silver Scissors. In 2013 we simplified our name by  becoming Michael's Silver Scissors. With the addition of our Bellefonte location in 2021, the decision was made to name both salons the same, so we dropped the Michael's, and changed the spelling of scissors to this. We celebrate 22 years in 2025, and look forward to many more years!

State College Location

Michael L. Kelley

Michael has been licensed and doing hair since 1990. While his primary focus is haircuts, he has an excellent reputation for Asian and Middle Eastern hair, he also does some coloring, Hi-Lites, Lo-Lites, Perms and Waxings.

Rachael Witmer

Rachael has been licensed and working as a stylist since 2019. She loves working in the grooming industry and specializes in fades and longer styles for men while also doing cuts for women and children. 

  Robert C. Replogle

Rob has been doing men, women, and children's  haircuts for over 35 years. He loves Full Application color, Foils, and Dimensional color. In addition, he is also well versed in permanent waving.
